Princess Birthday Party - An Enchanting Birthday

Once upon a time in a kingdom run by the most wonderful king and queen (you), there lived a beautiful princess (your child) who was preparing to celebrate her birthday.

Then one night the princess had a dream and in her dream she wished for an enchanted princess birthday party.

PARTY DECORATIONS

The King and Queen wanted to make the princess's dream come true, so they planned a lovely party just to please their daughter.

With these enchanted princess birthday party ideas, your child's wishes and dreams will come true.

Imagine your little girl all dressed up in her royal princess costume, happily greeting her party guests as they arrive for her special celebration.

Invitations

I suggest the "royal treatment" for your special celebration announcements.

As the royal family, you may wish to send your invitations on parchment paper. When your invitation is ready to deliver, roll up the parchment paper and tie a bright red or purple ribbon around it.

Your royal wording might start off like this.

"Announcing a royal celebration"

"Once upon a time... As a royal subject, your presence is requested by the king and queen of the kingdom (your last name) to attend an enchanted Princess Birthday Party for her highness, princess (your child's first and last name) on the magical occasion of her (how old she will be) birthday."

"This royal celebration will be a princess costume party where all are invited to dress in their princess wardrobe. Our enchanted birthday party will take place on (day and date) and will begin at (time) with our celebration concluding at precisely (end time of your party)."

"The King and Queen request that all royal subjects planning to be in attendance, please RSVP by (day and date)."

"Her royal highness princess (your child's first name) looks forward to your attendance at her princess birthday party which promises to be an enchanting time for all."

"Our party will take place at the castle (families last name) located at (address).

Deliver Your Invitation

Here's a fun idea. Have someone in costume actually hand deliver your invitations. Imagine how surprised and delighted your party guests will be. And they'll know this party is going to be very special. What fun.

Royal Decorations

When decorating, the royal family always uses red, purple, pink, blue and white balloons. You can also find a number of excellent online party supply stores where you'll find all kinds of incredible decorations to brighten up your castle.

You can cover your ceiling in colorful helium balloons, and be sure to decorate your mail box and your front door to help your party guest locate your castle entrance. You might decorate your front door with a colorful balloon archway for your guests to walk under.

Princess Birthday Party - Games

Pin The Tiara On The Princess

Cut out a picture of a princess from a coloring book, or get a princess poster, then cut out some small paper tiaras that your guests can stick on the picture... Remember to put each child's name on their tiara.

Enchanted Musical Statues

Have your party guests move to the center of the room. Start playing some music related to your theme. Have your guests start moving and dancing around... Then stop the music and everyone has to freeze like a statues. Anyone who moves is out. Keep repeating this until only one person is left.

Royal Message Relay

Have all your guests sit in a circle. Have your birthday child think of a silly royal phrase or sentence. It might be a funny message for the king and queen... Your birthday child whispers the message to the guest on their right. That child whispers the message to the person on their right until the message travels all the way around the circle to the person sitting just to the left of your birthday child. That child then repeats the message out loud... Then the birthday child tells everyone what the original message was... Everyone gets a turn. The more the message gets mixed up, the more fun it is.

Princess Dress Up

Pick up some fun things like tiaras, mirrors, combs, boas, jewelry, long gloves and even high heels for the young ladies to play with.

And don't forget to take lots of still pictures and shoot lots of video.

Princess Birthday Party - Royal Food And Drink

May I suggest the following elegant finger foods be served.

Royal melon, served with tooth picks Finger sandwiches Carrot Sticks Grapes Celery sticks filled with peanut butter Purple, red or pink Jelly Beans Small crackers with cheese Cherries Royal orange slices Apple slices with caramel dip Strawberries dipped in chocolate

And for those thirsty moments:

Royal punch with sherbet ice cream and a taste of ginger ale Sparkling grape or apple drink Lemonade with strawberries

Princess Birthday Party

We hope your child's enchanted Princess Birthday Party is a big hit and that your child's birthday wishes and dreams do come true.

Have a Princess Party

Princess is a excellent theme for a wee girl birthday party. It has endured straight through the ages for decades. There are many separate kinds of princesses from separate cartoon and movie companies. Girls seem to agree though, they don't genuinely care what kind of princess they have at their party, they just want the theme.

1. Plates, napkins, and other princess themed party supplies add a great estimate of climate to your party. You can get these things at practically any party furnish store for fairly cheap.

2. Placing decorations on the wall such as pink streamers and posters can add to the princess theme. Try to make your house or backyard like a castle that a princess would live in!

3. Rent an inflatable bounce house that is themed as a princess. There are many options for this. Bounce houses have many separate shapes and colors along with separate princesses printed on them. This is a great way to give your wee girl a princess castle!

4. Get a princess themed cake. Get a yummy cake that has a princess printed or frosted onto it to add an extra piece of atmosphere. Make sure it tastes as good as it looks!

5. Send out invites that have your theme on them.

6. Have all the attendees dress up, along with the hosting parents. The parents can be the kings and queens. This gets the girls in the princess spirit and shows them that you care about their party.

A birthday party is one of the most important days in a kid's year. Make it extra for your wee girl with their favorite theme!

Princess Birthday Party Decorating Ideas

The time has come for your little princess to celebrate her birthday and she has decided that this is the year for her royal ball; an enchanting afternoon to celebrate with all of her friends. Now what? Relax, take a deep breath and follow our guide to decorate for the Perfect Princess Party.

Whether you a month or even just a week to plan, we will make this birthday the easiest and best.

PARTY DECORATIONS

First you need to decide what is doable and what you can do without. If you have a budget, stick to the basics. You do not need to spend a lot of money to have a magical day.

Of course decorations are a must! If you are on a budget, the dollar store is your friend. You are certain to find streamers, table covers and balloons there. Here you can save some money by purchasing basic colors instead of Princess themed streamers and balloons. Buy a mix of pink, purple, white or yellow. These are the basic colors for princesses.

First, start by making a thrown for the princess. If she is younger in age, a child's chair will work great. My daughter had a Cinderella plush chair that made a great thrown. If you do not have something similar, take a basic chair and cover with tulle fabric. If it is an adult chair, try adding a step stool in front, to make it easier for her to get on and off. Place chair against a blank wall if possible

Using more tulle, curtains or streamers, decorate the wall directly behind the thrown. Arrange on the wall as you would arrange drapes on a window. Instead of the window being the focal point, the thrown will be instead.

What thrown would be complete with a carpet that leads up to it? I used large red construction paper and taped it together to make a red walk way carpet. I already had it on hand and it added so much flair to the thrown area. The girls loved walking on the "red carpet".

Entering the princess party can be just as exciting as the inside, with doorway decoration. If you are crafty and have patience try this project. Start by deciding which doorway you would like to decorate. It can be the doorframe to the house or to the thrown area. Measure the width of the doorframe, so that you know how wide to make your castle entrance. Using cardboard or heavy paper cut the top half and shape to represent a castle making castle towers. Leave the bottom half straight so that it aligns parallel to the floor. Try to make it a good height, so that the adults won't bump their heads coming it and out. After decorating with construction paper or paint, hang from the top of the doorway. If you have the time or would like to make it more elaborate, you can also add the sides of the castle and a lowered drawbridge. These decorations can be made in advance and setup the night before.

If adding a castle entrance is too much work, try adding streamers and balloons instead.

Decorating the tables and chairs can be just as easy or elaborate depending on your budget, space and time. If you want to have a table just for the princess and her court, design her table with a Princess themed, pink or purple table cover and all other tables should have white table covers. Centerpieces can be a single red rose in a vase to honor Belle of Beauty and the Beast or glass slippers if Cinderella is her favorite. You can find faux roses and vases in inexpensive party stores or in dollar discount stores, whereas glass slippers may have to be an online purchase from auction sites or online party stores.

Chairs can be draped with tulle or fabric and embellished with a bow in the back. If you have a table just for the princess and her court, you can just decorate the chairs for them.

Decorate the cake table with Princess themed napkins, plates and party favors. Be all the little girls have tiaras or princess hats and the little boys have crowns or swords. You can also have the party goers dress in royal attire to add flair to such a special occasion.

Dress up the walls with princess pictures and posters can add that special touch. A great idea is to print princess pictures, place in frames and hang on a wall to represent all the princesses that came before yours. You can purchase inexpensive frames in discount stores, dollar stores and superstores. Find nice princess pictures by searching online.

Include your princess in the decision making; She knows what she likes. Last but not least, don't be afraid to be bold and help make your Princess feel special on her birthday, after all she is royalty.
