People usually select DYI favors to save money (always a good thing!). But that doesn't mean you can't make fabulous favors that rival (or are better than) store bought favors. Because you surely (and easily) can with glass candy jar favors.
Tips for great jar favors:

· Make sure you select glass jars that come with tight fitting lids. They are of higher quality and look nicer too.
· Look for jars that come with personalized labels. Or if you would prefer, you can always make your own personalized labels. Simply use your computer, printer, and label paper to create your very own design. Or you can turn to an online source for personalized labels such as Myownlabels.com.
· Everyone loves an edible favor so whether you fill your jars with mini candy bars, jelly beans, mints, bubble gum, M&Ms or something sweet treat - your guest will love receiving (and re-using) them. You can also make your own mini sized cookies and fill the jars with them. Make them way ahead and freeze them; put them in the actual jars a day or two before your big event.
· Other fun things to fill jars with include scented potpourri, bath salts or bath beads and flower seeds.
· To make the jars especially festive you can always tie pretty ribbon around them, preferably color coordinated to the event.
· If you aren't attaching a personalized label on the front of the glass jar you may want to attach a personalized tag with ribbon (see bullet point above).
