Cork Favors

A wine cork, is of course, synonymous with wine and any wine-themed event. So it is not surprising that many select real cork favors as the favor of choice at their party.

But did you know that cork is carefully as environmentally friendly? It is typically harvested from the trunk of cork oak trees every 9 years once the trees have reached 25 years (in lives that typically spans 200 years).   Because of cork's elasticity and its near impermeability it makes a near excellent material for wine bottle stoppers. Cork is also precisely recycled - an additional one environmentally friendly aspect.  As of late - cork flooring is becoming a beloved choice for gourmands; no slipping and sliding on it and it takes well to dents caused by dropped pots and pans.

Cork Place Card Holders

Although there are many cork place card holders ready made from plastic or resin,  nothing compares to the real thing.   Typically made from seconds from actual wineries, they add an additional one eco-friendly dimension to this favor. You can also have them customized by having names or images added to them. Guests can then take them home as a keepsake of your event and use them to display play photos or memos.

Cork Coasters

These, like the place card holders, have one side sanded down so that they stand flat on the table. Corkboard is added to the lowest for added stability. Although they look like glasses would wobble on them this is not the case; all glasses set flat on them.

Cork Themed Favors  

Not precisely made of cork, rather 'cork' is part of the theme.  Wine cork shaped candles are one such favor. So are personalized candy bar wrappers that have a photo of a cork on the wrapper.
